ROUND THREE: WINNERS AND EXHIBITION EXTENSION
Greetings folks! The votes are in and we have our 4 semifinalists! Though only now do I realize that I have not posted the entries into the Colosseum gallery. They will be going up later tonight.
And now on to the winners!
MATCH ONE
*manic-pixie and *TheCrowchan had a spectacular round, their absolute best. A creative twist on the chariot race, hilarious dialogue, and wonderful action and expression work. They certainly gave =Zeurel a run for his money this match up. Zeurel's animation was an improvement from last round, and had so much to offer as far as action and humor goes and the ending leaves us at the edge of our seats. It was just enough to give him the leg up over the competition.
MATCH TWO
~Oly-RRR is certainly a master of the sequential art medium with a fun, energetic style that delights us. Even the line work everything is clear and full of life The lingering mystery of w00t has captivated us from the beginning, but unable to push through *Coelasquid's rising tension with a monstrous Daggett, introduction of rival mobsters, and Blue's ongoing inner turmoil.
MATCH THREE
Both *BlindKnight and *AstroCrush produced EPIC entries, packed to the brim with crazy action and gripping story which tugged on our heartstrings. It blew us all away. BlindKnight however pulls ahead this round as his storytelling this round has been his best. We almost thought we were reading Astro's entry at times. Bravo to the both of you. Thank you so much for making this tournament so kickass!
MATCH FOUR
Not sure if there was miscommunication as far as the deadline for entries, but it seems ~rainyday wins again by default.

I am thoroughly impressed with this event. Theres been some fantastic work by a lot of fantastic talented artists here, event or side story. Wait a go everyone!

Oh man, and to think next round is going to be just as, if not MORE intense. (And yes, I totally am at Atlantic City and popped on just to see this as a surprise. :B)
